Anthony filmed two distinct performances for the original Star Wars production.
Laze “Fixer” Loneozner
Luke Skywalker’s friend in scenes shot for the original film. The scenes were omitted from the 1977 theatrical release and later made available as deleted material.
The Sandtrooper
A separate, masked performance in the Mos Eisley checkpoint sequence that appears in the released film.
The archive keeps these performances distinct and presents original stills with their existing publisher marks intact.
A second language.
Music began in Montréal, where Anthony studied composition at Vanier College and flute with Jeanne Baxtresser. His interests in performance and orchestration developed alongside his acting work.
In London during the early 1980s, he worked in record production, including The Mood’s RCA recordings. The band’s drummer Mark James Fordyce recalls Anthony as its first producer, recording at SARM East with engineers Gary Langan and Julian Mendelson.

Behind the camera.
Anthony’s work extends beyond acting into scripts, directing, editing and original music. His independent projects include Distrust; earlier theatre and film work includes Bob’s Garage in Toronto.

Anthony William Forrest was born in Birmingham, England, and grew up in the Montréal area. His early stage work in Canada led to a screen career in Britain and internationally.
In 1976 he filmed the role of Fixer for Star Wars and performed separately as a Sandtrooper. His film and television work also includes The Eagle Has Landed, The Spy Who Loved Me, Killer’s Moon, Oppenheimer and Bergerac.
Alongside acting, he has pursued composition, record production, writing and directing. This site gathers those strands in a single professional record.
A 1968 Montréal theatre production directed by Bill Millerd is part of Anthony’s recollection; its title and role are still being researched, so they are not presented here as established credits.
